Search the City (http://www.myspace.com/searchthecity) - There is something in the Michigan water because it seems thats where all amazing unsigned bands are in 2006. These biys are cute altrock with a glossy pop finish. My suggestion: "We Get Along Like A House on Fire".

Cavalier (http://www.myspace.com/cavalier) - A tempo up from Mae; they cultivate elongated vocals with pop guitars and classical piano. Check out "No One's Watching".
