AN AESTHETIC ANAESTHETIC is a Post Punk-Instrumental band from Chicago. We recently released an E.P. called Explanations for Lulls in Conversations and we'll be recording a full length this winter. I'd love to hear your feedback on our tracks. You can listen to them at www.myspace.com/anaestheticanaesthetic (http://www.myspace.com/anaestheticanaesthetic) Thanks a lot!

I like it for sure, but I think your name is a little to much of a tongue twister man.

since we're entirely instrumental we have to make the few words we DO use as obnoxious as possible ;)

Glad you enjoy the tunes! Yeah, our name gets mispronounced and misspelled ALL the time, but with any luck the tongue twister will stick in people's heads. Thanks again for the feedback. We'd gladly send you some songs/a CD if you're interested. Just let us know.
I dig it.
But the 'pill bottle' graphic on your MySpace is pretty generic.
But I guess that's aesthetics. No pun intended.

We're getting ready to head on a small weekend tour to Minneapolis. If anyone's from the area, you should stop by. We're playing at Ed's Bar in Winona on the 11th and The Beat in Minneapolis on the 12th.
We also just finished two new songs for our upcoming full length, we're pretty excited about that :)

The mini tour was awesome. We got to party with Justin Pierre from Motion City Soundtrack and his fellow bandmate, Tommy (Farewell Continental). They were awesome dudes, and they loved our shirts which is good news.
We're looking forward to playing The House Cafe in Dekalb, IL with Victor Villareal (Ghosts and Vodka/Cap n Jazz), Gold, and Loose Lips Sink Ships in October.

i realize that this is kind of weird considering there's such a similarity in my band's name to one who also posted in here.....but i'm in a band called AM Aesthetic out of Connecticut, and we're on the verge of independently releasing our first EP, "(am)bivalence". I would love to get some feedback from some real music appreciators, you can hear some of our songs at www.myspace.com/amaesthetic (http://www.myspace.com/amaesthetic). thanks!

I have some stuff up, it's called The Longtooth Collective. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Hell yeah, thanks! We actually haven't made it out to NY yet, but we'd love to get out there. Thanks for the suggestions! We'll be sure to let you know if we ever head out that way. What's your band called?
