Adaptation., Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
All are great, great movies.
Let's hear it for awesome screenplays.
And: which do you think is best?

kaufman is the man.
as for my favorite screenplay of his, I think adaptation and john malkovich are fantastic
but my favorite is eternal sunshine. its innovative, funny, creative, sad, complex and I love it
I also think eternal sunshine was the best actual movie too
i know he at least wrote Confessions of a Dangerous Mind too. I got Eternal Sunshine > Being John Malkovich> Adaptation
eternal sunshine is by far the best in my opinion. i'd recommend confessions of a dangerous mind for kaufman fans (and clooney fans) too. an overlooked gem that most people don't even realize he wrote. i'm really excited to see how the horror movie he's currently writing for spike jonze to direct (after "where the wild things are") turns out.
He wrote Human Nature too. I know he was also a writer for some of the greatest misunderstood, poorly marketed tv shows The dana Carvey Show and Get A Life.

I think it goes:
ESOTSM > BJM > A.

Those are some really good movies. All because of him, too.

Don't forget Spike Jonze and Michel Gondry.

adaptation would be my favorite, but there are times when it is really hard for me to like Nicholas Cage. eternal sunshine was an incredible movie, and BJM was probably my least favorite of the three, though great.
