They are both pretty phenomenal bands. When it comes to intelligence or wit, I'm going to have to go wit Cursive. However, as a band, I think the Strokes overtake Cursive. Is This It? is among one of the best albums I've ever heard, and they continue to mature with every album. The strokes have a fantastic sound, and they boast to of the most talented guitarists to enter the last decade. Their melodies are tightly knit, creative, immensely catchy, and plainly artistic. I enjoy listening to the Strokes more than cursive... Im going with the strokes on this one.

The Strokes are memorable.
Cursive, not so much.. I had their discography a while ago, thought it wasn't bad, nothing special, and I honestly can't remember a single song by them now. :/

if this were still relevant it'd be Cursive easily but i would have picked BSS over either one in the next round so it doesnt matter.

who ended up winning between The Flaming Lips and Death Cab? that's a choice i'd have a hard time making, i'd probably end up going with DCFC though
