I decided to create a separate thread for this outside of the other one because this show was significant in that it was clearly visibly hard for all the band members (Mark and Travis in particular). Also, does anyone else still feel like there's so much tension between Mark & Tom or is that just me? Though, I wonder if Tom was picking up the slack in terms of telling "funny" jokes because Mark was so bummed. For anyone else who was the show, did you notice this or was it just me?
I also noted they omitted "Adam's Song" and the drum solo (probably both due to good reasons). Setlist below:
Dumpweed
Feeling This
The Rock Show
What's My Age Again?
Violence
I Miss You
Stay Together For The Kids
Down
Always
Stockholm Syndrome
First Date
Man Overboard
Don't Leave Me
Not Now
All The Small Things
Reckless Abandon
Josie
Anthem Pt. II
--------encore-----
Carousel
Damnit
Weezer was probably the best band of the night in terms of sound, performance and execution. Rivers jumped on his trampoline and even threw an acoustic guitar out into the crowd (thankfully, I was standing in the back of the small pit so I didn't have to deal with a bunch of kids wrestling each other for the scraps of wood). Their setlist is below:
War Pigs intro
Hash Pipe
Undone (The Sweater Song)
Surf Wax America
Troublemaker
Perfect Situation
Say It Ain't So
(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To
The Good Life
Island In The Sun [Rivers started each part by himself and looped it]
Pork And Beans
Beverly Hills
Buddy Holly
Should I Stay Or Should I Go (Clash cover)
TBS was....TBS. As usual, Adam Lazarra proved his range is nowhere near what it is on record but their set sounded good (is it really necessary to have a 3rd guitarist on stage though?)
What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost
Sink Into Me
Error Operator
New Again
Liar
Cute Without The E
Decade Under The Influence
Summer Man
Make Damn Sure
I'll be seeing the final night of this tour (with the alternate openers) at MSG so I'm curious as to how Blink's stage presence and banter will be. It must be brutal being on tour and performing each night when one of your close friends just passed away so kudos to them.
