...but this absolutely deserves its own thread...and Caleb will agree with me.

Albert Pujols is nothing short of a manchild. He just had his second career three homerun game, the third homerun in this one a walkoff. He single-handedly destroyed the Reds today, a team that actually played well but could do NOTHING about Pujols. He's a machine.

Every single homerun was a belt-high fastball that barely hooked around the foul pole in left field...

The sad part is? I, as a Reds fan, cannot be mad, because it's just Albert Pujols, and you can't do anything about the man. I can't be mad like we lost on a walk-off by David Bell or something. It's Pujols. He's a god. Completely understandable.

Delete this, whatever, I won't care. I just needed to say this.

I just needed to say it to someone since I'm home alone.

Did anyone else for the Cards really play that well today? Rolen had the homerun and that tough defensive play he made look easy, and Yadi had a few hits, but neither did anything spectacular. The Cardinals could have extremely easily lost that game today.

god dammit that would have been such a huge win for the reds...8-4 record...4-2 on the road trip...comeback win with the aurilia two run double in the eighth...going into a three game series with the marlins...we're still alright but that would have been so big...

I know you're kidding, but we all know that Albert Pujols will never get traded. He's the best player today, easily.

Pujols is awesome...if he stays healthy, I can see him breaking some records.

pujols is fucking amazing. I'd trade dimitri young, pudge, bobby higginson, and the entire lions offensive line for him.

Pujols is my favorite player in the MLB. He's the sole reason I root for the Cards in the NL.

what a fucking beast.

The Yankees would probably sign him for 500 million dolllars if he ever tested free agency, but we all know that will never happen.

i get scared every time he comes up to bat. i don't know why, he's just that intimidating. you could probably make one of those funny lame 50 facts series about him, and i'd like it. like "Albert Pujols>Chuck Norris" or something like that.
