agreed, and thats why i had high hopes for it. just about any bad movie can be saved by a sports related plot, but this was just terrible. the dialogue seemed really forced and it just killed everything else for me. although when he dressed up with the jock strap outside of his clothes to meet their parents i laughed a little.

I think Summer Catch was worth a spot on my Netflix List simply for the line "I LIKE BIG GIRLS, AND THEY LIKE ME!"

i thought fever pitch was a really refreshing movie. i thought the humor wasn't forced at all in most cases, and its the most tolerable Jimmy Fallon AND Drew Barrymore have been in a long time. it was just a nice little movie. good for what it was.

I liked everything except how they were on the field at the end. How did that happen? I mean, what was the point? That took away from the Red Sox's celebration to have a movie being filmed at that part and it didn't even make sense for the movie.

I liked this Movie, it's not the best movie ever that for sure but still I enjoyed it. It did have the best line to yell at umpires in it, "Get off your Knees Blue your Blowing the game."

i thought for love of the game was pretty underrated. a little too long, but i thought it was really enjoyable. Field Of Dreams is my favorite. Bull Durham is pretty awesome too. the only move where i thought Susan Sarandon was kind of hot.

I didn't see the movie but I tried being an extra in it. The one scene I shot got cut and I didn't bother to go any other day because all the inside scenes of Fenway were shot from 2am-6am

I loved it for the red sox scenery and the shots of boston (seeing as I lived there at the time). The plot was at least plausible because that's how red sox fan's are. But the acting was sub-par and the dialogue could have used some fine tuning.

But worst baseball movie ever? Nah. Summer Catch takes that claim to fame.
