This is a stupid attention whoring thread but I don't care. I am going to a new school this year(I transfered from a charter school to a public school) and I am starting to feel nervous. I went to register today and I was fucking confused at how the school was layed out, not to mention I don't know 95% of the people in my grade.

haha in other words give me help on how not to get the shit kicked out of me at a new school. No one wants to be "that guy" and I am in the position where I could be "that guy".

I have no idea what a charter school is haha.

That's the extent of my input. I've never been in that kind of situation so I can't really help you. Just don't be a dork. All will work out.

Some are fine I'm sure. Mine had terrible teachers with high standards and people I didn't like. Going there for 4 years really isolated me from how the real world works too.

Ah I see. I think my niece goes to one of those.

But anyway, just be confident. I've never actually seen someone get beat up at school to be honest, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Don't antagonize anyone either.

Ask for directions/gladly take directions, and do so with a smile. Our school gets a lot of new kids moving in and out, and the one thing I can tell you - I can predict how they will be accepted when I see how they act when they get help. If they try to act all cool and shit, no go. But if they take directions with a smile, don't hesitate to ask help from the kid sitting next to them in class, etc., then they will have great success.

find the biggest kid in school and murder his family. Plan B just be nice to people and you will make friends and in time you will learn the school and all of its secrets.

Start coversations with random people and just try to be friendly and open to these new people. In a fight hit them in the balls and run like hell

if you hit them in the balls you will never make friends, go for the ear because they will stop and ask " did you just hit me in the ear what the fuck"

Asking for directions or if you're in the right class is a good icebreaker to start talking to new people. I just transferred colleges and I'm pretty much in the same boat.

Wear a sweet band's shirt that could draw someone to talk to you. Haha. Just be nice, really.

Be nice but not too nice. Just be yourself and if you don't know who that is than the easiest solution is to not over think your situations.

If you approach someone that you don't know just start out with a simple "hello". Harmless conversations are your best friend. Be sure not to isolate yourself because than people will feel like your are being snotty.

Don't let your nerves ruin a could be friendship with someone. Don't judge anyone and you will be fine. It will work out but you just have to try a little bit.

Good Luck
