as soon as i heard this it screamed green day. i can't really hear the letter kills though.
i like it but i'm concerned of the green day likeness at the start, i'm glad it goes more davey ish after the 2 min mark. but its verging on manson aswell ha.
regardless i can't wait to hear the whole album and will prob buy it.

definitely reminds me of "american idiot" meets "holiday." the cadence, the way he sings, the "HEY"s and the simple pop punk guitars all remind me of green day and i fucking DESPISE that band. the part where he screams is weak and sounds like total shit and it doesn't sound like manson, because when he screams, he actually screams. AFI are capable of much better, so i still have lots of hope for the album, but "girls not grey" was a much much much better lead single than this.

yes but it also rings of old AFI with the simple guitars and HEY's... so i cant really knock them for that haha
anyway, song's ok i guess... i just hope the rest is more agressive.

not bad...i've never really liked much afi besides "silver and cold" and "girls not grey".
This sounds extremely different from those.
