I heard a song in heathrow at an airport in HMV and I don't know who sings it!
All I remember is it was a guy singing (probably a band) it was very pop-punky and the guy's voice sounded a little like head automatica/secret life of the freemasons.
After searching for like a week on the lyrics I could remember which were something about pretty baby or little lady (lol) i came up with a song from 1956 but the lyrics sound right, there were pieces I remember and I just want to know if u guys know an artist that has covered it.

Well, I don't really understand your post, but Save by The Rocket Summer has "HMV" in it so that might be it.

lol hmv is the name of a cd store in london. I have no idea who bo diddley is but someone sure as hell covered it. I guess i might as well get over it.

Either way, your call; and who am I to judge? But if you really have to ask who Bo Diddley is, I wonder/worry about the extent of your education and appreciation for music outside of the crap on the radio today.

Edit: although this person says they are from Kuwait. I don't know. They were at Heathrow airport.

Even still...it's Bo fuckin Diddley. It's almost like saying you don't know who Buddy Holly is.

I'd say Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix... would be more identifiable than Diddley. I know, it's disgraceful.

In hindsight, you're probably right. While Diddley is hugely important and influential and all-around badass, his name still isn't as well known as others.
