Below is an update from Steve Bache, drummer for He Is Legend (http://www.myspace.com/heislegend):
We're now done with pre-production and drum tracks for the new record, and honestly, this is some of the best drumming i've ever heard. I'm a big fan of drummers, and drumming, and even drums, but this drumming is top of the line drummer drumming. Like that movie drumline, except way more white people. We did all the drum tracking in Sound City Studios, the same place that Dave Grohl recorded Nirvana 'Nevermind', Rage recorded their self titled first CD, and that REO Speedwagon recorded 'You Can Tune a Piano but You Can't Tuna Fish', which somehow went Platinum. Steve Evetts our producer also happens to be the raddest jew since Jon Stewart, and his Sharpie drawings would put my 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Naudet to shame. He basically took our already awesome-tastic songs and made them even more rad-tacular, so expect some of the heaviest, riffiest, prettiest, most rockin' album to ever be put out by any band, (or at least He Is Legend), to blow your eardrums off (especially the drumming) sometime in late Summer/ early Fall 2006. Matt and Adam have also been flirting constantly, as well as keeping fans filled in on our meaningless existences, on our livejournal (http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=heislegendbrodown)pa ge. Well, i guess that's a xanga, but whatever. Basically, we're out here in California ruling, and then we'll rule on tour this summer, and will continue to rule until our album comes out and people find out how hard we rule, and then we'll start ruling all over again. Leaving on a personal note, i find Caleb physically attractive, and have no problem with that.

Um, I was always under the impression that they were a christian band, even back when they were Uriah Omen I am pretty sure they have always been a christian band.

he is legend is great. they are christians and they are making music. you can call them a christian band if you want. i don't think they have specifically labelled themselves as a "christian band" though.

so let me get this straight. he is legend - christians in a band on a christian label; a christian band on a christian label; or random heathens (just kidding) on a christian label? which is it? because if it's the third one, that's kinda weird.

way back when they were the uriah omen (and wayer back when they were no one wins) they were a christian band. since then they've dropped the christian tag. so let's just call them a band. a band of fine southern gentlemen (i use that term loosely) who represent the greater carolina quite well.

I am a Christian. And I agree. Who cares if they sing to Jesus? At least they have a belief that's deeper than the next song about a girl. And yes, drinking to He Is Legen pretty much rocks socks off. They are super energetic live, very cool backstage, and hilarious. Screw the Christian vs. Non-Christian crap, they plain rock.
