We just brought both of these bands to my college this past friday and I can't reccommend them enough.
They both came to a party with us after and they are some of the nicest musicians I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Try anything off of 'Mander Salis' by TSTCTC (moth before a flame is just electronic 'emo'-ish music)

Anything by Owen is amazing. Also check out other things Mike Kinsella was in (American Football, Cap'n Jazz, Owls)
