I've posted my review (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?p=3123158) of Crime In Stereo's (http://www.absolutepunk.net/crimeinstereo) The Troubled Stateside. The album was released today on Nitro Records (http://www.nitrorecords.com).

What the fuck? They were making a new record?

yeah. the recorded it last year. The fuel.transit.sleep EP featured 3 songs from the sessions... two made it on, one was cut.

go pick it up, it came out today. you'll like it if you like CIS.

Their ep on nitro was pretty terrible, Explosives and the will to use was an amazing album and so was their other ep. I hope this as good as your review says.

it wasn't on par with the contract EP, but it wasn't that terrible. Slow Math is a great song, and "I'm On The Guestlist Motherfucker," which i didn't like much originally, seems better now because it makes sense with the rest of the album, in my opinion. You might not like it because it is more melodic than their previous stuff, but I think it works well.

Here's an MP3 (http://www.nitrorecords.com/mp3_56/CIS-Bicycles_for_Afghanistan.mp3) that Nitro posted a while back.

People seem really scattered on their opinion of this one, so it's tough for me to say what you'll think of it, especially if you think that FTS was pretty bad.

FTS ep sounded like what i would expect from a nitro band and I was fairly disappointed with it. I'll give this album a listen right now and probably buy it later.

Give it a couple listens. It didn't grab me on the first listen, but after the third listen i started to really like it.
