i dont understand how the person who wrote "your song" and was on the cover of TSL's say it like you mean it now looks like he's the love child of robert smith and marilyn manson. the songs are okay, nothing special, i see some potential though.

I don't believe he's an "official" member, I think just a touring one. Also, I can't get into Jamison's new stuff at all. He sounds like he's singing on a respirator.

Yeah, but isn't the Say Anything stuff just temporary? Like for touring? Because I know Parker is doing I and the Universe (myspace.com/iandtheuniverse).
Jamison was definitely the more talented of the two.
Please tell me you're kidding? Check out Astoria, Parker's old band. He used to drum for Hellogoodbye too. In JamisonParker he played pretty much all of the instruments. Now he's touring with Say Anything and doing his own project.

Parker is listed on www.sayanythingmusic.com so I figured it was official that he was perma-member.

only one song works for me, "I Explode" but its mostly good lyrics and singing, mainly jamisons older job. Its missing all of the other instruments, which is what Parker mostly did. im looking foward to more of this.

hey.
im going to clear stuff up for you.
the dance with the dead stuff is STRONGLY influenced by the jesus and mary chain, jamisons main influence. listen to their album "psychocandy" and you will see where the influence for the sound comes in play.
as far as who was the better of jamison or parker, parker is definitely a much better musician. jamison can't play guitar in anything BUT open tunings. expect HUGE things from parker
more about parker, he is just a touring musician with say anything right now. his new project is called i and the universe.
about astoria, i have their EP. if you would like it, hit me up on AIM, my sn is the same as it is on here. if you like astoria, go check out alex hovis' new band, paper models. www.myspace.com/papermodels (http://www.myspace.com/papermodels). alex was the singer for astoria, and paper models is basically the same astoria base but a much more mature sound.
HOPEFULLY this clears some things up for everybody.

I believe he posted the old demos (he recorded them in a laundry room) and everyone hated them and they started bashing him, so he took them down. I thought that was funny.

I think his new demos are good.. the quality is shit. but i like the songs. can Parker sing? cause if not he could honestly be anyone.. which means if you get someone else and put him with jamison, jamison could make quality songs again.

lol
hey, could someone rip this? myspace isn't working well for me (paper flowers aren't working totally), and i have a feeling that if he'll take that down we'll never hear it again in that form (i mean that those are demos etc. :-) )
ps. a little offtopic but could anyone share with paper models ep? can't find it anywhere, and that's a great band, still not sure if better than astoria, i need to hear something more ;-)

i and the universe is possibly one of the worst band names i've ever heard.
