I don't see what your bitching about. As a fellow Flyers fan, I think this is the best thing that could have happened to us. Did you really want to play a team that just beat us by a combined 9-2 over the past week of the season?

Bold prediction there. Carolina is still quite a strong team.

Well with the goaltending situation in MTL i think its strong. Understand that I hate the habs with a passion. They are a big underdog here, they lost the season series i believe 0-4. Montreal is an aweful place to play in the playoffs as an opposing team unless you get an early multi goal lead.

Huet is amazing, I'll deifnitely give ya that. Either way I'm hoping to see some upsets in the 1st round. As a Ranger fan, that's the first upset I'm looking for, haha.

My only other upset is Edmonton over Detroit, ya I said it and went there, I'd love to see this and it is possible.

How's that going to happen? Are you big ogre defensemen going to magically learn how to compensate for the Sabres speed that killed them in the season series?
Or are Freddy Meyer and Joni Pitkanen going to get it done by themselves, in spite of Hatcher, Rathje, Therien (is he still injured?) and Desjardins?
...Nothing against Desjardins, he's a great player, I just know he's gotta be almost 40.

Hmmm an OT loss, a 1 goal loss (won with 5 seconds left), a 2 goal loss (without Forsberg), and a 2 goal win. Sounds like complete domination to me as well.
As for speed, we handled Ottawa's speed very well (3-1 season series), and did just fine with Carolina as well (2-2 season series).
Season series' mean nothing. How are the golf courses in Buffalo anyway?

yeah desjardins is 37 but he had a solid year and a relatively injury free one, therien is a slug, if kim johnsson can contribute he would be a huge addition but the flyers and concussions go hand in hand, pitkanen is a stud and meyer has played surprisingly well also, rathje is slow but finished plus 22, hatcher has been a rock all year, and i love the gauthier deal more and more everyday, there is also the option of putting sami kapenen on the blue line
i think goaltending and production from 3 lines is more of an issue then defense

special teams are what kill the flyers.
