Is the main character Revan? I'm having a hard time piecing everything together, all I know is that the Ebon Hawk gets it's shit ruined and that they talk about the dude being in there. Does that warrant him as being Revan?
Definitely confused and probably retarded.

No
you were Revan in the first one. In this game you were some Jedi who fought under Revan during the Mandalorian wars.
1 was so much better. The Final battle in 2 was so fucking bullshit.

not to mention the ending...
nar Shaddaa was probably the best part in the entire game

Ahh, I see now, but why does he end up on the Ebon Hawk?
Also the final battle in 2 does suck, whoever came up with floating lightsabers should be hoagie slapped.

yeah it felt like they rushed the end of the game, overall it was a good game but the end was a huge dissapointment

my problem lie in the "Sith Lords"
in 1, Malak was ever present, scary and truly someone worthy of fear and respect.
You see Sion what? twice? Nihilus once? and neither was even remotely fightening. And Darth Treia shows up at the end?
i was very deflated afterplaying this game

The 1st one is soooo much better, I agree. The game was nearly perfect.
The 2nd one is decent, but the ending to the story was terrible. The story could've been a lot better overall.

I loved both of the games, and I don't really have a preference. I am just waiting the next one, there has to be one dammit. At least in that format.

Yeah I loved Jade Empire. Yeah, and it was way too short.
Hopefully the sequel is longer.

I'm coming back to this thread years later to proclaim that I loved this game.
It doesn't really try to be the epic game that the original KotOR was, and I like that. I honestly feel like this is the most brilliant and subtle writing ever put into a video game. It really changed the way I thought about the Force.
It's a much better game if you look past the immediate story and look at its characters and themes. Kreia was wonderfully written and it made Revan even more of a mysterious character.
It's hard to compare this to the original because I liked them for different reasons. I know a lot disagree, but I loved the game.

I believe that if LucasArts hadn't rushed Bioware to finish the game quicker, then this game could have been one of the bests. The potential was there but the ball was really dropped in the last part.

Yeah it was great in the writing department (IMO) and I still think the game as a whole turned out well for being rushed... but it was still rushed
