So I've always loved the Beatles, but who hasn't? I don't think it's possible to dislike them, and as you can see from my avatar, I've been listening to nothing but them for the past few weeks. They've come out with many albums, that are all amazing, and they are arguably the biggest and most influential band to date. I know that this may seem impossible, but I want to know your list of your top 20 favorite Beatles tracks. I will do mine, but it may take a while. And if you don't listen to the Beatles, then let this be a reminder to check them out as soon as possible. Go.

1. Eleanor Rigby
2. Let It Be
3. I'm Looking Through You
4. Across the Universe
5. Penny Lane
6. A Day in the Life
7. Hey Jude
8. A Hard Day's Night
9. Gotta Get You Into My Life
10. I Want To Hold Your Hand
11. Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
12. Help!
13. I Am the Walrus
14. Come Together
15. Octupus' Garden
16. I'll Follow the Sun
17. A Little Help From My Friends
18. Hello, Goodbye
19. Getting Better
20. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
20. When I'm Sixty-four
20. Free as a Bird

That list probably isn't that accurate. My favorite Beatles song is Eleanor Rigby, and the first 5 are pretty set in that order, but after that I really didn't know where to put what. It was more of a "list" of my favorites after the top 5. I love all of these songs, and I wanted to add more tracks, but I cut it there.

They get a ton of credit, but yes, they should get more, and they aren't talked about enough around here. Now make your list!

So many songs that I wanted to add to my list, including this one. Why am I the only one who has made a list?

great list. Let It Be is one of my favorite songs ever

Word. You'd better.

1. Let it Be
2. The Long and Winding Road
3. Elenor Rigby
4. Strawberry Fields Forever
5. Hey Jude
6. Nowhere Man
7. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
8. Paperback Writer
9. Daytripper
10. Help
11. Penny Lane
12. A Hard Day's Night
13. Yellow Submarine (Haha I love it)
14. Come Together
15. When I'm 64 (It's just so damn catchy)
16. Twist and Shout (It's a classic)
17. Yesterday
18. Across the Universe
19. Helter Skelter
20. Lady Madonna

These choices represent my favorite songs. As you can tell by some of my choices, the movie Yellow Submarine got me into the Beatles more than anything, so you'll notice alot of the songs are ones that alot of people probably wouldn't mention unless they were talking about the movie.

After listening to the Beatles all day, I'm once again going to have to change my list. It's pretty pointless since it changes all the time, but from what it seemed today, it would go something like this.

1. Eleanor Rigby
2. Across the Universe
3. A Day in the Life
4. Let It Be
5. Penny Lane
6. Hey Jude
7. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
8. I'm Looking Through You
9. A Hard Days Night
10. Twist and Shout
11. I Want To Hold Your Hand
12. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
13. Revolution #1
14. I am the Walrus
15. With A Little Help From My Friends
16. Gotta Get You Into My Life
17. Come Together
18. Help!
19. Getting Better
20. Octupus' Garden
21. Nowhere Man
22. When I'm Sixty-Four
23. Yesterday
24. She Loves You
25. Get Back

I know that this list will change again tomorrow. Twist and Shout and Revolution #1 are songs I completely forgot to add to my first list, but I love both. I'm similar to Tristan I suppose, it depends what kind of mood I'm in, whether it's old or new, but I love them both. Anyways, I'll probably make a poll for favorite Beatles album sometime tomorrow, so look out for that.

Yeah, I think my favorite is Sgt. Pepper... but it, Abbey Road, Revolver, the White Album, and Magical Mystery Tour are all pretty close for #1.

but anyways, i'm sure i missed some. those just are the first ones that came to me.

let it be is my favorite album, especially the naked version that came out a few years ago. much much better.

This is a great thread. I had to bust out 'Revolver' and I will probably listen to some 'Rubber Soul' after that. As for favorite Beatles songs, I would have to go with 'I'm Only Sleeping,' 'Happiness Is A Warm Gun,' and the last half of 'Abbey Road.'

I have been listening to them literally all my life. They are what I grew up on, and made me interested in music in the first place. They always have and always will be my favorite band by a mile. By fifty miles. I have a tattoo of them, an outline of them from the Help cover going around my arm. I got it not just because they are such an amazing band, but because they have just been such an important part of my entire life.

That said, I really don't think I could make a list. I could name a few favorites, but ranking them feels too weird. That sounds odd, but I can't really explain it; I've tried before when subjects like this have come up, but can't do it. If I did, "For No One" and "In My Life" would be in the top three, but beyond that, I can't really say.

Said tattoo:

damn thats a badass tatoo.......my favorite beatles song is "Wonderwall"

hahahaha that was my sad attempt to be funny. Oasis and The Beatles are 2 of my all time favorite bands.....The Beatles actually are my favorite band of all time hands down, no one comes close its absolutely ridiculous how fucking amazing they are. I have a handful of friends who despise them.....they call them a boyband and say they are just like NSync hahahahahaha which automatically avoids any opinion they have about music. My list will be coming soon....i love talking The Bealtes.

5. Help! (their most underrated album)
6. Abbey Road

Let it Be is a great album. And even if you don't enjoy it that much, how does that affect how much someone likes Across the Universe? The question was favorite songs, not albums.

I'll make a list later. There are simply too many Beatle songs that I love to mention right now.

You guys need to check out The Redwalls. They sound like The Beatles on the "With The Beatles" album.
