This band has been such a letdown. EP due last March initially still isn't out. It's been finished for a month an a half supposedly...am I the only one starting to lose faith in this project? (Coupled with the fact that Jonny Craig's solo project failed and Craig Owens' upcoming CD doesn't sound all that promising)

I really like one of the demos. The others were pretty decent as well. And yeah, I saw on their twitter that the CD's finished or something.

Perhaps they're waiting for a few months after Craig Owens and/or Jonny Craig to release their side-projects and tour for it before releasing it? Was kinda what I was thinking.

I wouldn't call the CD awesome but it's good. His vocals are the only listening point to me. So smooth. Muiscally, lyrically it's rather boring.

And in their defense, they're only impatient because it was due out in March FIVE months ago. that's a heft delay.

I worded that wrong I guess. I personally didn't like it, and many people seem to agree that it was poorly put together (almost every song sounds like it was made in garageband in twenty minutes). It just seems like he didn't put much time into it. A little hypocritical to say when I want I&G to come out quickly, but hopefully the long wait will prove to be the best for it.

Craig wasn't excited about this at all and won't be touring with them, so yeah. It kinda failed. He's more interested in his solo stuff anyway.

I just get really frustrated when people get mad about stuff like this. My band had to push back our album's release date by four months due to various reasons, so I kinda know how things happen that are out of your control. I just think a lot of people on this site (not you, specifically) don't understand how much work putting out an album is. I've been looking forward to a few albums that have gotten pushed back for awhile, but I'm not going to go complain about it on a message board.

Believe me, I'm not thrilled that the I&G album's not out yet. I just think people, especially people who say they're fans of the band, should try to be more understanding.

Well, I never said it was the top 200, but I didn't know it was Heatseekers. I agree that his voice was the best with DGD. I wish he was still there instead of with Emarosa...but the guy's voice is phenomenal regardless.

I understand everyone has busy schedules and that it takes time, and I can respect that. I've just been impatient I guess. Thanks for the info, though, at least I know it's still being actively worked on and hasn't been set aside. Is there any talk of touring in the future (or maybe a TSOAF-esque one time bundle of shows)?

Well maybe have less knowledge of how it all works and everything... but I think everyone who gets on this site has a basic understanding of music, and what is apart of it... and since not everyone is a musician, they know its not for everyone... therefore it is not the easiest of things to do. Maybe I give everyone too much credit, or your not giving them enough... either way it doesn't matter.

Get a subscription, to the charts and you'll clearly see it posted at number 12 top new artists albums thanks to Nielsen Entertainment.

I know sometimes its tough to fathom how something you don't like, could possibly do well.

Why would you say that Jonny's solo album failed. It was really awesome. He has a soulful voice, the music fit, plus he cites one of his biggest musical influences as Boyz II Men. So what else would you expect?
