i wont lie... that is so upsetting! their ORIGINAL BASSIST was the man! everytime i seen them played... even back in the day with b-new and tbs he kicked ass. this is heart breaking. i'd rather them be on an indefinate hiatus than see them come back with new members. :(

I'm bummed they got a new drummer. The old guy was the major reason why I liked them in the first place. He was amazing. Oh well, I'm sure it's all for the best, and I wish them luck with their next album.

I disagree, although 1985 was nothin special, The Compfort of Home is fuckin amazing and underrated.. I think it has a lot of original sounding stuff in there... anyone else feel this way?

i think scott has the some great melodies for 1985....and the guitar work in the comfort of home is insane.
i think theyve gotten better with each cd, a lot of people just give them shit because they grew up with perhaps i suppose, and have more memories tied in with that CD, so they consider that their best work.
how many bands do you see releasing CD's with 16 tracks these days?

Perhaps, I Suppose is one of the best pop punk albums of all time IMO.
Nothing they've put out sense has really compared to that album, but I still love 'em.

Agreed. Although it's hard to compare TCOH to Perhaps, I suppose, I get alot more out of the older stuff, I'm hoping the next album (if and when it comes), is more of their older style.
