Am I the only one that finds Carlos Mencia to be the most unoriginal hack that comedy central has given a show?

I mean, Chapelle pressed racial issues in his show, but Mencia is just unoriginal and unfunny, it doesn't even bring into question race issues, it just makes you wonder how much money they are wasting on him...

Sometimes he does make a funny observation but most of the time he doesn't take care of the whole racial tension as constructively as he could. Just going for the first cheap laugh and that's pretty much it.

I really like Carlos Mencia. I like his show but I like his stand-up even better.

There are a bunch of different types of funny. Mencia is offensive funny, and I like it.

I agree, carlos mencia is not funny...

but can we please stop overrating how much chapelle "pressed racial issues." He basically just played up black stereotypes.

no. his standup is the exact same thing as his show. thats why i hate him. the standup is just him saying "black dudes do this..and you dumb people are like "dah duh duhhh!"....Hispanics!!!" that is basically his routine

thats it though. he acts offensive just because he can and it has no point. its almost as bad as Drawn Together
