Haha, I get pretty pissed when I spawn run 10 feet and boom dead. I hate that aspect of martyrdom, I rarely use it now. Dead Silence/Steady Aim replaced it

Just for the fact that they are following in WAW with already having two expansion packs set to come out after the game is released. New Mombasa was barely explored in the second game and in third it was only mentioned and was never actually part of the game. The storyline isn't just about the invasion it also includes finding out what happend to four of his teammates when they landed (you also play them when you discover a clue to see what happened to them). Weapons, well from what I have seen in the trailers I have seen no pistol from the original game, just a bunch of new weapons. Three new maps for multiplayer plus 21 previously used ones and a new firefight mode with different characters. Oh and the game is open world as well.

I was playing it yesterday and challenges and extra kill bonuses were flying up everywhere. It might be a bit too much but on the other hand, it was incredibly fun and exhilarating. Such a fun game.

But the thing it the game gives you so many options. You can't use every killstreak, or death streak, and if you have two attachments, you're sacrificing another decent perk for it. Everyones loadout will be completely different making every player a strategic kill.

Use the scar, and let me know how that works for you. I'm a casual gamer, but I've been having a lot of luck with that gun. If you want, you can even throw on the scope or grenade launcher to make killing opponents a little easier. It's accurate, and there's barely any recoil.

Also, if you don't think you're too great at the game, sit back, use corners and cover to your advantage, and take your time, because more often than not, if you decide to run-and-gun, you're going to get the shit kicked out of you by some little douche jerking off in his parent's living room.

I went to Gamestop with COD4, L4D, and GOW2 and only paid $9 for my copy. MW2 only costs $20 when you trade-in two games that are on this list they have, so check with them. I traded in COD4 and L4D to get the discount, and also sold GOW2, so I got the game for about $9.

Multiplayer is fucking awesome. Haven't touched single player yet, don't plan to for a while. This is now the only 360 game I own and I couldn't be happier. With L4D2 coming out soon I'll be set for like a year hahaha.

I went to Gamestop with COD4, L4D, and GOW2 and only paid $9 for my copy. MW2 only costs $20 when you trade-in two games that are on this list they have, so check with them. I traded in COD4 and L4D to get the discount, and also sold GOW2, so I got the game for about $9.

word. i play 360 casually, got pretty good at halo actually, but any other shooters i just get shot by snipers and shit over and over again, and it's not like i have time to sit down and invest hours and hours of gametime to try and get better. oh well, the campaign is amazing. that no russian mission was intense.

Use the scar, and let me know how that works for you. I'm a casual gamer, but I've been having a lot of luck with that gun. If you want, you can even throw on the scope or grenade launcher to make killing opponents a little easier. It's accurate, and there's barely any recoil.

Also, if you don't think you're too great at the game, sit back, use corners and cover to your advantage, and take your time, because more often than not, if you decide to run-and-gun, you're going to get the shit kicked out of you by some little douche jerking off in his parent's living room.

just give it time. the more you play it (at your own pace of course), you'll learn the maps/high traffic areas and you'll form your own strategy and get better. when i got MW i felt the same way but eventually got better.

Agreed. The maps are bigger and better graphically, which reminds me of WaW. WaW's maps were bigger and had more to them compared to COD4, but that doesn't equal better maps. MW2's maps are much more similar to WaW than COD4. And is it just me or is it too easy to kill/get killed from long distance shots? It seems like I can kill from across the map with only 2 shots, and can also get sniped with just the same amount of shots. Even close range it seems like kills only take two bullets..

At the beginning of the game it says there is a "disturbing scenario" or something like that, and it gives you a chance to opt out. If you hadn't read about it online or heard from a friend what exactly you were opting out of, you'd have no idea, because it explains nothing about what you are opting out of. I don't know how they make sense of the story if you choose to opt out of it, since that's what the entire game hinges upon, and would be stupid if they just explained it with a narrative cut scene.

I tried not to think too hard about the reasons for the invasion and the government activity and all that, because frankly it is ridiculous as fuck and absolutely implausible. Made for a really exciting game though.

The museum made no sense. And yeah, I was really disappointed there was no invasion of Moscow, especially since one of the other 141 Members says something like "how soon can we be in Moscow?" halfway through the game.

See, now I feel that the whole airport level could have been a simple cut scene that condensed it down giving the basic facts and you still probably wouldn't have lost a lot of the story.

I was also disappointed in the lack of invasion of Moscow and the unresolved Makarov situation, they could have easily extended the total playtime of the game by several hours if they had included those stories.

Loving the game so far. Campaign has had some great moments but I don't really get the story...lol. As far as multi goes, definitely taking some getting used to but I'm doing alright and it doesn't feel all that different. If you're planning on close -quarters gun play, just seems like you have to be skilled/sneaky enough to get close to the enemy. It's working alright for me so far, so I'm assuming I'll only get better with time.

The post of his I was referring to came off as nothing more than clear-cut bitching about a game he had given less than 24 hours of playing time. On top of that, one of the three main complaints he had was how hard it would be to level to the 15th prestige. Really? Doing the math off the top of my head, that's leveling over 1000 times. I don't care how much you "love" the game. If you have any intention of leveling over 1000 times on any video game, you need to re-evaluate your priorities and the way you spend your time. I'm sure that sounds brutally ignorant, but after hearing two kids in line the other night using their kill/death ratios as a point of argument, I'm not really all that concerned.

Why? Because it's just not fun. I don't find too much enjoyment in either 1) Getting killed repeatedly in .05 seconds or 2) Simply aiming my crosshairs at an opponent and tapping "Shoot" and they're dead.

Maybe my mind will change after playing more. Hopefully, anyways.

This would be ideal. I mean, I'll admit, I act like a total douchebag on xbox live and I'm sure a lot of other people do too. I just don't want to have to listen to idiots while I'm trying to enjoy myself and have to constantly mute people.
