Yellowcard And Matchbook Romance To Hit The Road

According to AcclaimedPunk.com (www.acclaimedpunk.com): Yellowcard (www.yellowcardrock.com) and Matchbook Romance (www.matchbookromance.com) will hit the road this summer for a string of festival and club dates. The tour kicks off in earnest May 7 at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee, and makes stops at radio festivals in Boston, Providence and Columbia, Maryland, before hitting its stride with the first club gig June 1 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona.

they toured together like 2 years ago too, that was good, they played in a wierd movie theater in Santa Cruz, CA which had the worst sound ever though haha oh well.

On the take action tour, andrew from Matchbook Romance said they were going to come back to austin and have a bbq this summer. how ridiculously awesome would that be if they seriously did it?

how did Matchbook Romance's new record sell? Seems like both of these bands are in a little bit of trouble when it comes to keeping up their fanbase. I could be wrong though. I still dig both.

There's also a date in NYC at the Nokia Theatre on June 21st. I believe it's $26 or so as well.

Yellowcard is playing in Bakersfield on June 7th in an ARENA....I've seen both YC and MBR (at seperate shows) start off in Bako in a literal basement....weird. Maybe they'll get downgraded to the Dome or something....although that show would surely sell out fast.
