Billy Talent (www.billytalent.com)'s first single, "Devil In A Midnight Mass" premiered on Canadian Radio this week and is now available on their Myspace.com (http://myspace.com/billytalent) page. The band's new album, Billy Talent II, hits shelves on June 27th (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=461&c=3).

Fun band. Good to see they'll be on Warped this year, I wish they'd swing over to Bamboozle.....

i kno its been so long. i cant wait for this album to come out! billy talent is one of my favorite bands and its a shame they arent that well known.

True story. And most of what came out in 2003 was re-recordings of stuff from 2001, haha.

It's been half a decade since we've heard seriously new material. I'll be surprised if they sound the same..

Yeah it is. I saw them Wednesday night in Toronto and the new stuff they played was pretty solid. Sounded similar to their first CD which I guess is why the new CD is called Billy Talent II. And if you want to see the tracklisting for the CD its on their Myspace page.

Jesus Billy it took awhile to put out some new stuff. but it will be awesome to see them at Warped Tour...gonna be an amazing day.

The only reason the majority of canadian artists, avril, sum 41, billy talent is because of the canadian content law. Which states that 20-30% of the music broadcast must be from canadian artists....this is why mtv doesn't exist there....the only have a station called muich music....to go along with this law....way to go canada... This is worse then payola

Isn't it 35% now? Ridiculous. The radio and much music are fucking horrendous.Oh, and we have an MTV Canada now. It's fucking terrible also.

You are most likely being sarchastic but I agree if your being dead serious. This band is reallllllllly good. True they are overrated in canada and they take fucking forever to get new material but believe me it will be worth it

one of the most ignorant comments i've ever read in the forum here.....i don't even know where to start on you man cause your probably a hopeless case anyways but i'll just say the state of canadian rock has never been stronger and there are a bunch of incredible bands to support that and they'd exist with or without cancon laws
