Autovein Stir Up The Buzz

The label buzz on Autovein (http://www.autoveinmusic.com) is heating up. Reps from Atlantic, Virgin, RCA, Warner Bros, Capitol, Sire, Roadrunner, Hollywood, Octone / J Records, Downtown / Atlantic & Jive were in attendance at the band's NYC showcase last week. A couple of other labels are flying the band back for private showcases next week.

Honestly not sure why. They aren't terrible, but most of their songs sound the same to me. I saw them open up for 30 Seconds to Mars. Good for them though.

might not be emo enough for the average ap.net listener, but the songs on their myspace sound like huge radio rock hits to me. i could see these dudes blowing up massive this year.

if memory serves, i think autovein were signed to columbia records and let go with a bunch of other good bands when matt pinfield & a bunch of other execs got fired a few months ago. i bet the label will kick themselves for letting autovein go. but then again, Columbia is the same label that dropped 50 Cent & Alicia Keys before they got huge for other labels...
