Hello everyone, here's this week's update. Some cool news going on, plus the summer blockbuster season is getting closer which means one thing....Snakes on a Plane......
News and Rumors:

On May 11th Fox will air a 7 minute preview of "X3: The Last Stand" between 8:30 and 8:37 as part of the finale for That 70's Show
Robert Rodriguez's part of "Grind House" entitled "Project Terror" has officially been shut down, production might start back up again next year but as of right now it's stopped officially. Not sure what is going to happen with "Death Proof" yet but it looks like it will be awhile before "Grind House" is out.
Ian McShane, the guy who says cocksucker all the time on Deadwood, is joining up in "We Are Marshall" also starring Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox, the film centers around the Marshall football team's plane crash in the 70's and the towns efforts to cope with it.
Russell Crowe will star in "Tenderness" from the novel by Robert Cormier. Crowe will star as a cop who helps unravel a troubled teen's past.
Shooting for SAW 3 will start on May 1st, Jigsaw and Amanda are returning. The film is going to center around two people Lynn and Jeff. Lynn is a mother in her 30's who is kidnapped by Jigsaw and Jeff is a father who hasn't recovered from his son's death.
"Mamma Mia!" the ABBA-themed musical will premier in 2007, the film is set to feature 22 ABBA themed musical numbers throughout the movie.
Possibly joining Shia LaBeof in the film version of "The Transformers", is Jon Voight who is in talks for Keller who is the U.S. Secretary of State. Michael Clarke Duncan who might play Figueroa, and Josh Duhamel to play Lennox. Bernie Mac might play car salesman Bobby Bolivia. Rachel Taylor to play Rachel. Also possibly starring are Tyrese Gibson and Jon Turturro.
According to Britian's The Daily Express, Angelina Jolie will star in the 3rd Tomb Raider movie. She's also attached to Sin City 2 and Oceans 13. Though its likely she will never overcome her greatest role in Hackers
The whole cast of "Superman Returns" will also be featured on the video game out this summer.
Matt Perry has signed on to star in "Numb" as a man who suffers from depersonalization disorder. After he falls for a woman he puts himself through every treatment imaginable to overcome his disorder.
"Deep in the Heart of Texas" is going to star Eva Longoria, it is a fish out of water story which is about a Beverly Hills girl who is relocated to San Antonio to run a Latin division of an ad agency.
The upcoming movie "Case 39" will star Renee Zellweger who will play a social worker who helps an abused 10-year old girl only to discover that the problems with her parents are not as how they appear.
The next video game to movie seems to be "Driver", Roger Avary will write and direct the movie.
Snoop Dogg is going to star in "Hood of Horror" the best horror movie based in the hood since "Leprechaun in the Hood". The film also starring Ernie Hudson, Danny Trejo, Method Man, Jason Alexander (What?) and Billy Dee Williams, follows urban horror stories of residents in a neighborhood who's actions in their present life determine their afterlife.
Ron Howard is becoming busy and has signed on to direct "The Look of Real" which follows a group of women in the garment industry.
Alien V.S. Predator 2 has a release date of August 10, 2007.
Lindsay Lohan is going to star in Georgia Rule, a dramedy which also stars Jane Fonda and Felicity Hufman. Lohan plays a teen who fights with her parents and is sent to spend the summer with her grandmother in Georgia.
Nicholas Hooper is going to score the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoneix" soundtrack.
Chris Kattan, Navi Rawat and James Denton are going to be in "Wanted: Undead or Alive" which follows an army deserter and a cowboy who are on the run after stealing from the local sheriff who are joined up by an Indian woman discover a curse named Geronimo which cause people to become zombies.
Steve Austin has signed on to star in "The Condemned" where he will play a man on death row in a Central American prison. When a wealthy producer purchases him and nine other men to battle to the death for his amusement.
Ed Harris has joined the cast of the Ben Affleck directed "Gone baby Gone" about two P.I.'s searching for an abducted 4-year old in Boston's underworld. Harris will play a cop.
There will be a Scary Movie 5.
The Office will have a 1 hr season finale on May 11th

John Turturro has joined an untitled dramedy that already has some big names on it including Jack Black, Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Jason Leigh. not much on the story but is said to be much like "The Squid and the Whale." Turturro will play Kidman's husband.
William H. Macy is joining John Travolta, Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence in "Wild Hogs" where they will play four over the hill suburbanites who buy motorcycles to recapture their youth.
Keifer Sutherland has said that the script for a 24 movie is in development and they're looking at shooting next summer.
Cassandra McGrath, from Wolf Creek, is starring in "When She Gets There", about a young woman who goes on a self discovery journey after her father dies. She meets a 40 Year old man named Michael on the way. Who then goes on to live with him at his orange grove.
Hans Zimmer will be writing the score to the upcoming Simpsons movie
J.J. Abrams is going to produce and direct the 11th Star Trek movie set to be released in 2008, he will co-write the upcoming movie and word is it might be a prequel set in the early days of the original series.
Yet another comic is getting big screen treatment. "Sgt. Rock" a DC comics WW2 series will hit the big screen. John Cox is set to write the upcoming movie but no one is attached to star yet.
It is possible that Julia Roberts will return to Oceans 13 after all, probably not having a huge part but she hasn't ruled out showing up in it. Sacha Baron Cohen might also be in Oceans 13 if Clooney gets his way
The second season of the HBO drama "Rome" has began production. Set for another 10 episode season, it will debut in 2007.
Brendan Fraser is going to star in an update of Journey to the Center of the Earth entitled "Journey 3-D" which is about a scientist who takes his nephew on a trip to Iceland to check into volcanic sensors. In which they get stuck in a cave during a storm and the only way out is through the center of the earth.
