'Ello all. ITs been a while since I've posted anything in this forum. I've been incredibly busy getting the new album ready for recording at the end of this month. Here is the newest song I have written for the album, hope you enjoy.
There is a hex stuck in my teeth.
It was written for me by the sea, and decreed:
"Everything you touch will bloom bright but die.
You were made for the same reason the tides rise."
So don't you look at me like there's light to find.
I am hardly even here, and barely keeping time
with this giant sea of entities;
just focusing, and measuring, and balancing, and questioning.
Its driving me insane, but then again, with the questioning...
I was searching for you in the deep bottomless blue.
And though you were only fiction, you were written for me- it was just true.
Don't you know I stare at you like a child at the moon?
I've just been sailing around and singing out towards you,
lost but without refute,
"I am handsome and mean, the inertia of the sea is embodied in me.
Jump into the churning, and be free."
But sometimes all this trudging just gets to me,
and I hear the sounds of thunder and chains falling.
