me and him are both fans of this current resurgence in 'revenge-action-flicks', so i respect his opinion. that said this film was junk for the genre. it was too much a stretch in believablity for its own good. it started strong and the actors were well cast...leave the lead out of prison and you'd have a fun film.

to his credit i understand why i think he liked it. he's more a fan of the court side of crime films than i am, and the Foxx role i think played to that. didn't work for me, but i think that's why he liked it.
