well i had my media player on shuffle and they came on, havent really listened to them at all yet. And the song "sincerly yours" comes on, and i had to ask myself "how in gods green earth did simple plan get on my computer???"

this isnt really a hit the lights thread, just a pointless ramblings thread. and just the fact that these guys' song sounds so much like simple plan. but since it has a different name on it kids are cool with it.

yea, im not huge on it. i like the 100 times song. its the only track that really stuck with me.

yeah, taht's going to end up being the problem with it...I wish their lyrics had a little more artistry to them.
Like, they make me think of The Academy Is...and how Will's lyrics have that poetic quality to them, repetition of sounds, etc that makes it stick more over time

i agree, wills lyrics are very poetic and really stick with you

Hit The Lights was hit or miss for me. In the end, it was mostly miss.

for alot of the songs. i could take lyrics from other songs that say, basically, the exact same thing. every line sounds like one ive heard before somewhere else.
