Well, first of all... my friends band Harelquin Hint (taylor, i told you to pick a name i could spell) I'd just like to congratulate them on getting to play on the East Coast Independent (http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=28285612&blogID=112390917&MyToken=273edad3-e124-42af-8cf1-28cf8ba6cd65) stage at this years warped tour. You guys did awesome and totally deserve it.
Anyway, I did recs with iHATEapril this week.. here are mine:

Taking Back Sunday (http://www.purevolume.com/takingbacksunday) - So i've been listening to Louder Now and its definitly not a Tell All Your Friends.. but there will probably never be another TAYF.

Madina Lake (http://www.myspace.com/madinalake) - I can't stop listening to these guys. They remind me so much of The Used (before they released their 2nd cd). If you are a fan of The Used you will definitly like it.

The Morning Of (http://www.purevolume.com/themorningof)- are these guys still unsigned?

Blink 182 (http://www.purevolume.com/blink182)- So every now and then I revisit my Blink 182 (http://www.purevolume.com/blink182) stuff.. I just wish they would come back :(.

iHATEapril's Recs:

Taking Back Sunday (http://www.purevolume.com/takingbacksunday): You can never count out an underdog. Well, who'd imagine you'd be calling the band who released everyone's favorite album Tell All Your Friends an underdog four years later? Well with the loss of two members and the release of a mediocre album, this band was the last one we'd expect to release the great album that comes out Tuesday. While I though Where You Want To Be was okay, I think this cd gets the passion and seriousness the last cd lacked at times. Pick it up, you won't be disappointed.

Thursday (http://www.purevolume.com/thursday): Okay, I eat my words. The cd isn't garbage and I haven't even heard the real thing yet. I know I was the first one to go around saying this was the worst effort Thursday has ever had, but I now am not sure about that. They took a risk and it worked. There is a new kind of emotion and feeling that the average Thursday listener must pick up slowly, as it is definitely not the thrusting power that you get through Full Collapse. This cd isn't full collapse part 2 like everyone hoped, but it's a great display of talent and, despite what anyone says, will probably be Thursday's second "genre defining" album, just in a completely different direction. Buy this cd, even if you didn't like it on the first 5 spins, you will love it.

Moneen (http://www.purevolume.com/moneen): First off, since I finally caught on to one of my favorite records ever, Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now?, I have been able to appreciate everything this band has done. They are one of my favorites. When I first heard this record, I was very upset. I thought they had tried to hard and strayed from the sound that I wanted out of the band. I didn't play it again for some time. I then heard it was 5.99 at Best Buy and figured the least I could do was buy it with how this band has helped me in the past and it came with a bonus track. So I listened to the actual cd for the first time yesterday and it's great.

Anathallo (http://www.purevolume.com/anathallo): There is no band that can display the emotion they can so subtly. I had no interest in this cd, I decided on a whim to listen to it. I had seen the positive reviews from slade and frank and figured why not. The first listen, prior to seeing those, I hadn't paid attention and figured it was another pretentious attempt by an indie folk band. On the next few listens I was floored by how I let this go over my head? This cd is my cd of the year and I doubt it will be passed.

Emery (http://www.purevolume.com/emery): Tooth And Nail tour was solid. They have one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Have fun.

My last reccomendation is try not to fuck up your prom. Junior especially. I helped to fuck mine up pretty bad and ruin my night as well as my date's night. We then spent the whole day yesterday arguing about it. I think though, because of it, I might really be in love with my girlfriend of six months now. I've never been able to say that, and don't know if I can now.
