What's the best Acoustic Cover of a song or Acoustic Reworking of a bands song by the original band?
I personally love the Acoustic version of Everlong.

Chesterfield King by Northstar, an acoustic cover of a Jawbreaker song. Such a dynamic change between versions.

Yes. And "Jasey Rae" acoustic by All Time Low (though also not a cover) is wonderful.

I'd go with:
Bayside - "Montauk"
Anberlin - "Dismantle.Repair"
Ben Gibbard - "Such Great Heights"

Prob not the BEST but Paramore's acoustic cover of "Misery Business" is solid.

Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt."
It's such a classic. The entire meaning of the song and the video Cash shot for it is just bone chilling.

this is my first time actually hearing this cover and I really dislike his voice when paired with the other elements of the song
I'm not a Johnny Cash fan so that prolly has something to do with it haha
& I'm not trying to say it's a bad song, just my first impression on a song I've been meaning to listen to

I think this was the first Johnny Cash song I heard. I probably have a bias myself, being a huge NIN fan and all.

The Foo's acoustic version of 'Times Like These' is phenomenal as well.
My favorite acoustic song ever would probably have to be Yellowcard's 'Only One'. It's just so emotional [for me].
As far as acoustic covers go, though, I definitely have to go with either Circa Survive's cover of Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' or Train's cover of Zeppelin's 'Ramble On'.

Dustin Kensrue - Round Here is probably the best cover I have ever sene/witnessed/got the pleasure of taking a video of. The ending is so full of emotion it's jaw drop worthy.

I'm a fan of the acoustic version of All Time Low's "Six Feet Under the Stars" over the original. Also, I dig "Running From Lions". Really, I wouldn't mind if they decided to do an acoustic album at some point. Or an acoustic alternate to one of their regular albums. I think they kill it when they go acoustic.
