so i thought i'd make one
I have a stingray 4 bass and it's such a quality instrument

I have a sub 4 string i got about 3 years ago from guitar center before they got discontinued.
Musicmans just have a great tone I like a lot more than fender jazz basses. I also think it's cool they're a CA based company.

I used to play my Dad's Stingray 4 all the time. I liked the tone by itself, but I brought it to band practice a few times and the sound just didn't work for me in that setting. Still, they're one of the best mass produced instruments out on the market.

Awesome live but recording, I'd stick with a vintage j or p bass
