Sarah Palin is so incredibly dense that her skull probably has its own gravity. Why would anyone want to dine with someone that probably dipped her brains in battery acid at some point in her youth?

As if Palin deserves ANYTHING better? Just because I diss this demon-cunt does not mean I approach all politics with, "face-fucking', as this would make voting both awkward and difficult.

live.

Mine matters just as much as yours (probably more so due to my actual involvement in politics, my education, correct punctuation, refusal to stereotype thousands of people as 'drug-addicted lowlifes', etc.).

So go ahead champ. Tell us why we should spend $40k to buy Palin dinner.

ya. she really really hates america. her stint as governor is an undercover operation to burn america to the ground.

and you guys are being completely ridiculous. this shouldn't even be a news topic. just another chance to bash someone who has been bashed in-and-out already. we fuckin get it, shes dumb and stupid and a cunt and whatever else. blah blah.

even so, the fact you wouldn't go to dinner with her is stupid. you wouldn't pay $5 to have dinner with one of the most controversial/influential people in America today? I would. I would pay to have dinner with Madoff, the unabomber, etc. think about how interesting the conversation would be, whether you like them or not. a couple hours would them would be a lot more productive and interesting than the time we spend on here repeating the same shit over, and over, and over...

Madoff was intelligent. The unibomber was intelligent. Dinner with Sarah Palin would be like listening to audio clips of conservative talk radio without the linear quality.

you have to show some signs of intelligence to reach the point in politics that she has. but i'll play along. even if she was of zero intelligence, you wouldn't have a conversation over dinner with her to ask why she does the things she does? or why she feels a certain way about an issue? or how she got where she was? or how she feels about the current state of politics? you wouldn't be interested at all in knowing any of this? it's not a fucking jeopardy game. its dinner. if you can take a dumbass girl with big tits out to dinner because she has big tits, i think you can survive having dinner with sarah palin without having your head explode.

Clearly my comment was to be taken with a grain of salt. However, I do firmly believe that she is more concerned with her own self promotion and political antagonizing than she is with any level of solution for America's problems.

Would I accept a dinner invitation from her? Sure. Would I pay $40k for it? No. Would I expect any level of honest debate or discussion? No.

I would however expect her to spout off inane falsehoods, right wing rhetoric, and religious extremism. Intelligent conversation? I think Katie Couric already tried that with her and we all remember how that turned out.

I agree with you in that we should learn where we can and not write people off due to our fundamental differences, but sometimes it's fun to look back at what was a comedic part of our history, right?

i'm not going to get into the politics of it. i don't even like the woman. she's the primary (disclaimer: not only -- primary) reason i didn't vote republican last election.

i just came to say that you guys are blowing it out of proportion. its just a damn dinner. she's raising money for charity. didn't kate moss do this? shit, a girl auctioned off her damn virginity for christ sakes. it's just a dinner for charity. happens all the time. woopdeedoo.

we have to keep in mind to a lot of these people, $40k is pocket change. the amount of money is irrelevant really, which is why i asked if you'd pay $5. which we would.

I would however expect her to spout off inane falsehoods, right wing rhetoric, and religious extremism. Intelligent conversation? I think Katie Couric already tried that with her and we all remember how that turned out. i would disagree. sure, there would be some stuff like that. but it's not like there will be cameras hovering above the table. i would guess she'd be more candid and honest, and the conversation will probably be driven by the bidder. i would bet if you tried not to talk about politics at all, she wouldn't have a problem with it really. obviously just an assumption, but who knows. she may actually be one of those really nice, hip youngster moms that are fun to talk to at a dinner table. i guess only the bidder will know.
I agree with you in that we should learn where we can and not write people off due to our fundamental differences, but sometimes it's fun to look back at what was a comedic part of our history, right?
