My girlfriend always gets pissed at me if I don't talk to her at night ( like last night she went to a show with friends and I was at home. She texted me [through AIM since I have no phone right now] but I was never at my computer last night so I never answered. ) She also gets upset because I don't tell her goodnight and stuff.
Now...am I really in the wrong here?

no but in the eyes of the ladies u are.... just tell her goodnight.. its not hard and will help to avoid any pointless fighting...
You aren't in the wrong but some girls want to know they are being thought of. Say goodnight to her, problem solved.

yea i just went through a hard break up over a stupid ass reason so i know how it is... so dude just man up and tell her goodnight and call her, make her feel appreciated... Its not that hard.

The reason it doesn't happen sometimes is that for the past couple months I haven't had a phone and then most nights she'll go do something (she's off in college) and so I'll end up going to bed without telling her because I just go to watch tv and end up passing out.

Look on the bright side, she could start asking for a whole hell of a lot more. Really she isnt asking for much, though I totally know where you are comming from. My Gf tends to freak out about little things like that from time to time.

i used to be sorta the way she is with my girlfriend.
i guess it took us breaking up for me to realize that i was being too clingy i guess. but it needs help on both your parts. if you really are lazy and not doing much you have to try to talk to her more, but she needs to learn how to just go with it sometimes.
