Spitalfield (http://www.myspace.com/spitalfield) headed up to Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin this past weekend to begin tracking for their upcoming (yet to be titled) record, which is scheduled for an October 3rd (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=691&day=2006-10-3) release through Victory Records.
Another label needs to snatch them from Victory and give them a proper push.

I really don't understand why Victory hasn't given them a bigger push. They are one of the most underrated bands out there. I'm excited for the new stuff.

This shoudl be interesting. I really liked Remember Right Now a lot... but I never got into their latest CD and I only listened to it like 3 or 4 times.

Agreed, Spitalfield is super underrated.
Although the last CD was a let down, I love the first one.
By the way - Secret of Mana is my all time favorite game.
this band is horrible, im sorry, they are. their last cd was absolutly aweful. borderline embarassing.

I honestly don't see why it seems like nearly everyone says that Stop Doing Bad Things was a "letdown" or "wasn't that good". I love it, just like I love Remember Right Now.

Everyone of their albums has been great to date and Stop Doing Bad Things was SO underrated. I can't wait to hear what the new stuff sounds like with TJ # 2.

ok...so everyone is on the same page other than the guy who thinks someone else's art is an embarassment. They need a new label, however, I'm sure they're locked in with Victory. ORRRR Tony Brummel needs to get his head out of Hawthorne Height's ass and start pushing his other bands. I never really understood why you would sign a band and then not push their stuff, I've heard you have to spend money to make money, Victory's just pissing it away...Give these guys some proper treatment, I mean, fuck, they're one of the only bands on Victory that has two albums out on the label and is STILL on it...

Stop Doing Bad Things was 100x better than RRN. The replay value of SDBT was a lot higher than RRN. There lyrics and musicianship was better as well. More mature, and not as cookie cutter pop/rock. I guess what I'm trying to say is SDBT was my favorite of 2005.

they changed there name to the robins and in my opinion are horrible. there is no nof left in them, its all indie/trying to be british.
