shitty set list. Kris, the fans that held on this long and still care, are the ones that want to hear more older classic Ataris songs

Last time they came around we didn't get All Souls Day, Takeoffs, or Saddest Song. So it's cool they are finally mixing it up, although some end is forever songs would be nice.

I saw on their myspace that another guitarist has joined the band. Are they touring as a five-piece, or did Chris not tour or something?

on 9/11 it was a four piece. Kris on guitar/vocals, another guitarist, bassist, and drums.

Basically the same set list last night in Tulsa but they did do Summer Wind Was Always Our Song and they covered Kiss The Bottle by Jawbreaker as part of the encore. The order of the set was also slightly different but not too much. They played Your Boyfriend Sucks last and 1-15-96 was like the fourth song in the set.

I really don't know. Saving Verona opened up for them and their set wasn't even that long. It looks like This Providence will be playing at the Ataris show tomorrow in Denver.

Other than Kris it's an entirely new band. They only learned enough songs to get through a tour and have been busy working on the record still and haven't learned any other songs. When I saw them back in May they did all of those songs (minus All Souls Day and Saddest Song) plus 3 Misfits songs and Summer Wind and I Won't Spend Another Night Alone only because they said we were a great crowd. They actually spent about 5 minutes figuring out what else they could actually play and finally decided on that after the guys didn't know songs like IOU One Galaxy and other ones that I can't remember off hand.
