Im just sorta confused, i dont get that band (and that genre) at all. There is no melody, there is no beat, i think those are the 2 defining factors of music. Even rap has that much going for it.

bands like the locust are actually really talented, the time signatures, and breakdowns (melodies?) they create are pretty cool.
but yeah..i dont really get into it, cause its kinda just obnoxious and to spastic for me.

Daughters are good on album but for me grindcore is about live show cuz all that noise an energy cant be captured on album.

Canada songs was a really good release though. Lexs old band at times though was pretty sick. i forget their name.

are you implying that daughters are bad live? i've seen them four times and they've always put on an amazing show. seeing them with melt banana was incredible.

so stoked for this album. it'll be one of the better albums to come out this year.

and the last time i saw Daughters, which wasn't too long ago...the new jams were amazing. like 3 minutes long! more spoken-wordish than random screaming. so good.

can't wait for this to finally come out.
