Went to this show last friday and it was a lot of fun, its really cool seeing Have Heart playing al lthese small clubs on their last tour. This show was at the Brewery in Raleigh NC which is pretty small, the place was packed and it sold over capacity, they were gonna stop letting people in right when I got to the front of the line, but lukily they decided to just let everyone in. The venue is set up really cool but it sucks the way they run it. There is no re entry, and no air conditioning so it is obviously insanely hot inside, it was just really frustrating having 300 + people trapped in a 200 capacity room, doesn't make sense to me. They had a balcony that they let people on but of you couldnt move around at all on it.

That being said the show was still awesome and worth going to, I missed the opening band and caught the last couple songs of End of a year who were pretty good.

Foundation was awesome and got a good reaction as usual, there several people that I recognized from atlanta so that was cool seeing some familiar faces. This band is starting to get really big, they go on tour with Bane and Blacklisted next month so mke sure you check them out on that tour. Here is their set:
Evaporate
Never Stops Raining
Hang Your Head
Testing Patience
Heartless
Pray For Atlanta
Keyhole

Crime in Stereo were really fun to watch, the past few times I have seen them they play great but they usually don't get a whole lot of a crowd reaction, but here the place went pretty nuts for them so that was good to see. I thought that they would just be really out of place on the lineup but they fit perfectly and they were just fun to sing along to. their set was pretty much the same as the other night in richmond:
XXXX
Third Atlantid
You Are Vast
Long Song Titles aren't cool Anymore
Bicycles for Afghanistan
Abre Los Ojos
Small Skeletal
I State Side

Show was going good so far, but when Cruel Hand went on things got a little fucked up, during their first song there was a huge fight. I don't know what was going on but a lot of people were in on it, there were several different fights happening at once, I think one of the people that ran the venue was involved too. It was so bad that I thought for sure the show would be shut down, and if it had been anywhere else it probably would have but luckily after about 10mins things settled down and moved outside and CruelAb Hand were able to continue the set, alot of tension in the room but they did their best to get the mood positive again. Always fun seeing them, they tour constantly and are becoming a big name in hardcore, here is their set:
Life In Shambles
Begin Descension
Under The Ice
Above And Below
Motions that Lie
House Arrest
Wisdom Pain
Hounds
Dead Weight

After some other fights going on outside, Have Heart was finally ready to go on, first thing Pat Flynn said on stage was how stupid it was that fights are occuring at a "Have Heart" show, and tried to just keep the room positive and having a good time. The place went pretty crazy for them, lots of stagedives and stuff, really rough room, but it was a lot of fun, they played pretty much everything I wanted to hear. The only thing is the set didn't really run smoothly, throughout the set they went through 3 different mics, which was really annoying, after nearly every song they had to stop due to technical difficulties, once they started playing thing were awesome, I just wish it could have run a little more smoothly. But I know a lot of people on here may not listen to this band, but if you like hardcore at all make it out to one of these last shows, there is always a variety of different people at their shows and it works out well, its (usually) a really positive experience. Here is their set (i think Im missing one new one, but its not Hard Bark on the family tree, they didn't play that):
To Us Fools
Something More Than Ink
Pave Paradise
The Machinist
Armed With A Mind
The Same Son
Bostons
Lionheart
Unbreakable
Life is Hard Enough
Watch Me Sink
Watch Me Rise

It was a great show, some things could have gone better, but it was worth taking bus from richmond to get there, again, don't pass up seeing this band if you have the chance. I am planning on going to their last shows in boston next month.

I went down to the Albuquerque stop on this tour, along with probably about 30 or 40 other Denver people. It was a ton of fun, and even though I'm not a HUGE fan of Have Heart, I still had the time of my life. And they played 'On the Bird In the Cage' when I saw them, that might be the new song you missed. They did not play The Machinist or Lionheart though, which was a bit of a bummer.

yeah thats kind how it was for me, I like have heart, but they aren't one of my favorite bands or anything, but seeing them live is just so much fun you can't pass it up.
That probably was the song they played, Im not familiar with the new cd so I cant say for sure.
I was so glad they started playing lionheart, usually when I see them they havent played it but I guess they started doing it again on this tour, and the machinist is probably my favorite song of theirs and last time I saw them they didn't play it so I was glad they played it the other night.
