the only band from portland to actually strike it big was everclear. aslo it was a bit of a joke that my roommate said (who is from portland, albeit he's from lake oswego area, ewwww)

believe it or not, i saw them last night. only art alexakis is left out of the original 3. they are now a 5 piece. they played 3 songs off of sparkle and fade, 1 off of world of noise, and i think only 2 off of so much for the afterglow. the rest were shitty songs from there last 3 efforts. good to hear some of those classics again though. these guys don't even have a website anymore, it was such a random show.

They haven't had a website for years now. It's a damn shame. I saw them last year, I was stoked to see Art play and sing for the first time.
