Andrew Goldstein, who recently left Aberdien (http://www.absolutepunk.net/aberdien), has re-surfaced in a new band called The Friday Night Boys (http://www.myspace.com/thefridaynightboys), which also features members of Socratic and My Favorite Highway. Samples of a couple songs can be heard on the band's pureVOLUME.com (http://www.purevolume.com/thefridaynightboys) page.

aberdien.
attempting to make the jump to somewhat of atleast a small national. andrew going to school = not being able to be dedicated enough. makes a very non-selfish decision to leave aberdien, so they can get someone who can tour full time, etc etc.
friday night boys.
members of other already successful bands. jamming around. having fun. the other people in the band have their other bands, therefore, no hard feelings when TFNB can't tour, or do anything off of the other bands schedule, or andrews school schedule.

there you have it.
now go listen, because theyre a good band.

If he's going to school in the Fall, why would he leave the band a month after their new album came out instead of waiting four months until he went to school? Leaving Aberdien high and dry for at least a few weeks to find someone new and teach them all the songs? He's jamming in a new band 3 days later. Sketchy.

as a member of the friday night boys i'd just like to say we have never had a single practice and all the songs were done by andrew in his basement, so everyone needs to chiggity chill. but since you all appear to be awesome decision makers in ways of knowing more about andrew's life decisions than him, i'll just lay off. cos i mean, it's not like it's a joke band.
