I've been getting into documentaries lately like The Cove, Tyson, The Bridge, and Food Inc. But did anyone catch Blood and Crips: Made in America? I saw this at a Redbox and it looked great.

It's a documentary by Stacey Peralta (Dogtown and Z-Boys) and he goes deep into the origin (rooted from rejected Boy Scouts), sociology, and anthropology of the Blood and Crips. It's pretty captivating.
Anyone see it? If not, definitely go see this.

I just downloaded Second Skin (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1183696/). I'm really, really excited to watch it.
King of Kong rules. Wordplay, Paper Clips, Roger & Me, The Devil and Daniel Johnston, Dark Days. Some of my favorites.

I like the Pixar doc; pretty neat if you like the films.
Dear Zachary. It's incredibly sad though.

Dear Zachary was the most depressing thing I've probably ever seen, I do not recommend.
The Union was good.
The Bloods/Cirips one was pretty good, it was interesting to learn how LA gangs came about.
I really want to see Man on Wire as I've read/heard nothing but great things.
Dark Days was amazing. When you see this, you can't just watch the film, you have to watch all of the extras on the dvd to really get the full picture.

The greatest music documentary of all time - Some Kind of Monster (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387412/). Metallica fucking suck but this has me in stitches every. Single. Time.
Anvil: The Story of Anvil! is awesome also.

Gotcha. The movie I watched last night had a preview for it making it seem like it was already out.

Obama Deception
jk
But some great documentries would probably be Jesus Camp, Deliver Us From Evil, Food Inc, and This is Spinal Tap. Last one is a mokumentry, but a great movie nonetheless.
King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters was very awesome. I heard great things about it, and was a bit skeptical to actually if it was good or not, I was expecting just nostalgic stuff. I was wrong. It was actually a very great documentary, highly recommended. Also saw Man On Wire a couple days ago, that was good as well. Not as good as King of Kong though.
