Olympia (http://www.myspace.com/olympiaband), the band featuring ex members of Fairweather and Brand New Disaster are going to be featured in the new May issue of Alternative Press. At this time the band is in talks with some very prospective labels and hope to have a label picked out in the very near future. saw this band's first ever show at alleykatz a few weeks ago. they were fucking awesome, and blew me away. the EP is FANTASTIC.

i like it. which members are from fairweather. i still jam if they move... quite frequently.

that's awesome. brand new disaster (and of course fairweather) were soo underrated. its good to see the members' talents recognized finally.

i really miss fairweather. one of the best bands to have come out of virginia! ive been playing them over the past few weeks. if they move...kill them is such a classic album.

but olympia is amazing. i hope i get to see them this sunday.

Fairweather was always so amazing.

I want a Fairweather reunion. I would travel to California if I had to (distance wise, not like it would be that far from me). I may see Olympia in Philly this summer with Jena Berlin and Between Walls...more rock worth checking out.
