What do the fine citizens of AP think are the most important parts of citizenship? (need to interview 10 people on this topic for a class, I figured this was easier than talking to people)

Community activism? Sounds good.
yeah actually, community and political activism - including voting, volunteering, writing to your representatives and all. giving back to the community by donating clothing and food to homeless shelters and associations that help out with those kinds of things, and doing selfless actions in general.

there's a difference between being a good citizen and being a good person in general.

A person who uses his or her efforts for the benefit of the community (despite Rush Limbaugh's criticism of this past 9/11 of community involvement... the dude is hella-crazy).

i think the best way you can be a great citizen, in my view of the term, is to do all you can to not be a drain on society.
