the seedy underbelly of suburbia. honestly there is no sufficient synopsis I could give you. Lets just say its the most fucked up film you may ever see.

No. Watch Lynch's older shit if you want weird. You'll actually be able to make some sense out of it too. Blue Velvet is a must see, if anything.

Well, at least Mulholland Drive didn't have a premature embalmed calf fetus as a character.

not a huge David Lynch fan at all, but Mulholland Drive was really good. great performances, and unlike is other stuff, the nuance and mystery of the characters didn't bore me to tears. billy ray cyrus gave this movie immediate props too.

mulholland drive is great, one of lynch's other films lost highway is way more messed up though, lost highway could be one of my favorite films, i think its more messed up than blue velvet, another great lynch film is the straight story, its not weird at all, its actually disney, its a really good film though.

oh man forgot about straight story. Richard Farnsworth was incredible in that movie. one of my favorites to come out that year.

very odd, i found lost highway to be a hell of a lot easier to follow than blue velvet, and a hell of a lot less fucked up, if only because of dennis hopper.

Go to the imdb page (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0166924/faq) and look under the FAQ section, there's a timeline of the actual events, and a list of clues that Lynch gives to help decipher the film (they are pretty cryptic though).

I still haven't seen this. I'm waiting for my mom to be free so I can go over to my parents' place and watch it (as well as Lost Highway and Eraserhead) with her, as she is the resident Lynch expert of the family.
