I was looking for my old thread I made about them aaages ago, but couldn't find it. Gay. I've been listenening to this band so fucking much today, Midwestern Styling is such a great song, the guitar in the chorus is just mind-blowing. I'm gagging for some new Glassjaw.

Kind of, in terms of the erratic sounding vocals, but that's about it. They sound a bit more modern and progressive IMO.

glassjaw needs to put out a b-sides cd and put some of their singles that never got into the second full lnegth like ry ry's song and others

they also need to get a solid line up and stop switching line ups like their names black flag.

yes. siberian kiss and pretty lush they ahve videos for. i think there is at least two videos from songs off their last album.. one of which is cosmopolitian bloodloss which was made for mtv. supposedly the origional screening ended with the band getting murdered, which was edited for mainstream play.

a side note i heard was that todd (now front man for men, women, and children) was in the video for brand new's sir transit video which i thought was kind of cool

the cosmo video where they got shot is cool, i like the mtv one better just cuz of the looks the band give vincent gallo when he unplugs them, it's mad funny. i miss gj so much these days. the piano midwestern stylings is awesome as well.

not that you guys care, but i downloaded a bunch of glassjaw tracks off of glassjaw.net because i had never listened to them (i do like head automatica though, and think daryl's voice is really good). i guess it just wasn't my style. he screams a lot in the glassjaw stuff, which i don't like. i deleted most of it so far, i have a couple more tracks to re-listen to.

Head Automatica is opening for AFI??? From what I know and the show Im going to its Nightmare of You.... I mean i could be wrong, but even then, Glassjaw would headline over AFI and DEP...
