i do believe leighton started off with an acoustic rendition of .... i think woke up near the sea. i can't remember haha.

they ended with the one you once loved is leaving as usual, it's the perfect closer.

it was mostly illuminate songs, i specifically recall this is twice now but they'd obviously play that one.

i don't want to give you false hope or anything like that but i'm pretty sure we got always move fast and it's in your blood at least from this december .... i can't recall though.

Mindy impressed tho, just Leighton's vocals don't seem as strong live as they do on the album.

It sucks to see other bands get more recognition and to see Straylight Run headlining this show at a tiny venue with a crowd of about twenty-five people. Their live show is always consistently good and its refreshing to see a band enjoy playing music. After the show, all three of them were on the floor taking pictures and talking to their fans. anyone going to that? gah, i was gonna go for anarbor/lydia and throw in straylight (havent listened to them since freshmen year of high school??) but she gets out of class around 8.. does anyone know how long anarbor's set is and around what time they play? dtbrew said the show starts at 7.. so im thinking i'll be missing anarbor's set if the lineup is camera cant lie, anarbor, lydia, straylight

When I saw them at Bamboozle waiting for Razia's Shadow I thought they did an excellent job, although the little outro they did is a lot better suited for a club. Vocals seemed pretty good for the sound quality being so shitty.

Also, what else is there in the way of SR merch?

they were amazing. what i caught of dave melillo was incredible, and he definitely shouldn't be an opener. he's way too good for that slot. brian bonz was...interesting. moving mountains were good, but i could hardly hear the vocals at all over the instruments. dangerous summer was good, but again i could barely hear the vocals over the instruments. overall, i'd definitely recommend making it out to one of the shows. and get there early so you can see dave!

So I went today and it was such a good show, got there while Moving Mountains was playing they blew my mind and I ended up getting their Vinyl

The Dangerous Summer was the real reason I came and they played an awesome set, really energetic even though there was literally like 30 people there, it was the same set as listed before, I talked to the singer and the guitar player a little they were both really cool and nice, it was there first time in VT and they totally werent used to it, I asked the guitar player if they'd ever play disconnect again, and he just shrugged and said "we can, you just have to come find us before the show and ask" thought i'd throw that out if anyone wants to hear something from them..?

Straylight Run came out and I realized how much I forgot these guys owned, i'm not familiar with a lot of the new stuff, but i know they played

something a long the lines of that prob another 4 or so songs, a couple acoustic, button down for sure and i thought mile after mile? maybe not, it was a really cool show though, a bunch of really drunk dudes dancing around the whole time kind of annoying and while switching to acoustic the singer sprayed some drunk dude with silly string because the drunk dude had asked him if he would sometime during the show? idk it was just a dumb little thing

Supposedly the Webster Hall show was either recorded or taped...I'm pretty excited for whatever result comes out.
