Say Hi to Your Mom
The Postal Service
With the exception of The Postal Service (because of Ben Gibbard's involvement), I don't know anyone who listens to / talks about these bands. I sincerely wish that more people got into this sound of music. Any other bands along these lines? I'm all ears.

Say Hi To Your Mom is pretty good; a lot of his material is amazing and a lot of it is painfully mediocre.

Sincerely, I love every song on all 3 albums, save for maybe a couple that are just good in my opinion. I can't wait for the new album in July.

Yeah, all three are great albums, I just think that they all have parts that are lacking. I personally like Numbers & Mumbles the best.

That's my favorite too. :) I had the privilege of seeing them last month, the songs I heard give me high hopes for Impeccable Blahs.

I think you should check Morr Music (label) because they have a lot of electronic bands. They have some of my favourites ever.

Thank you so much for the recs. I forgot to mention B. Fleischmann, Figurine, and The Notwist, I like them. And the Morr label is excellent, Electric President's album is my album of the year so far. As for the others, now I have some bands to scope out and that means the world to me. As for Children of the CPU, they have one album out entitled "Back to BASIC" and you can download it on their web site. It's 160kbps quality, you can buy it from them to get the actual CD / quality for $10.

I was definitely going to check them out after reading this thread. :)
And I can recommend plenty more bands if you want me to, because this is pretty much my favourite type of music - indie pop/electronic.

I LOVE casiotone for the painfully alone. i had to reivew them for my college radio station and i loved the new album. Ditto for B. Fleischmann, one of the few CD's i reviewed that ive been trying to find to buy a real copy of. I have a certain affinity for Ladytron too.
