Yea, that set looks to be right from my recollection. I was at the Ft Lauderdale show as well and man was it good. Emery and August Burns Red were dead on and Underoath played a really good set and put on a really good show but they had a lot of sound problems. They sounded really bland and it was hard to make out a lot of what was played; they kinda sounded like a jumbled mess.

Maybe TOCS era Spencer, but if you've heard any of his work from DTGL or LITSOS, you would know that he is far superior. also, they didn't let anyone under 21 in to see Emery. we missed the entire set. they didn't start letting people in until their last song.

Talk about ironic. I've seen shows there for the past 5-6 years, and the only thing I have ever had a problem with is the shitty security. It is somewhat small, compared to the venues in Philadelphia that you are probably used to. Which entrance did they have you go in through? Was it the small single door near the back that only lets one person it at once? If so, that's the reason you guys got screwed out of seeing Emery, since there is only one person taking tickets, and they rarely open the doors on time.

When I saw Four Year Strong there last fall with New Found Glory, FYS actually stopped playing during Bada Bing and started bitching at the security guys because they were basically beating the shit out of a teenage kid for no reason. After hearing about your problem there last night, I don't think I will be going to Croc Rock for shows anymore.

Since this tour didn't stop in Philadelphia, you were kind of screwed into going to a shitty venue like Croc. If i were you I would stick with Philadelphia venues. The Troc is my personal favorite down there.

Sorry I'm so late with this but, I got to meet Aaron Gillespie (drummer/clean vocals for Underoath and lead singer for The Almost) at the Nashville concert. My friend and I were chilling at the local Guitar Center, checking out the sweet guitars and my friends jaw dropped. I looked and low and behold, Aaron was behind us. He was looking around and on the phone talking to someone, so we didn't bother him.....at that moment. After a couple of minutes of stalking him around the pianos, we saw that he was off of the phone and asking an employee about a product in the electronic equipment. The employee walks off and we make our move. "Aaron?", I said. He looks up and smiles. I stick out my hand to shake his. He looks back down at the product in his hands. Next thing I said is jibberish about how I'm excited about tonight and can't wait to rock out. I put my hand down. He says, "I'm sorry.". Puts hand out and we shake. "I'm just agitated about this part.", he said. "I guess I'll see you later on tonight", I said. Then I walked off. It was kinda awkward but it was great nevertheless. I got to meet one of my rock idols and I'll never forget it. Too bad I was so nervous I didn't ask for a pic, but I think that would have been rude anyways. So yea....thanks for reading!

All the setlists were the same pretty much, ABR didn't do their Carol of the Bells cover...but they might have played Redemption? I just remember hearing the words Redemption repeatedly in one song...but I wouldn't know all of ABR's songs like THAT well.

Regardless ABR was amazing! I never knew their bassist (I think) is the one that does the like REALLY high screams, it was an amazing combo! Drumming was sick, breakdowns were the best I've seen live yet!

It was SO amazing!

And yeah, I totally feel for you volklaero (http://absolutepunk.net/member.php?u=65049), because on the House of Blues website it said doors seven and show at eight...I would have been pissed if I had loved Emery and missed them cause of that!

But I got there at like 6:30 so that wasn't really an issue lol.

All the setlists were the same pretty much, ABR didn't do their Carol of the Bells cover...but they might have played Redemption? I just remember hearing the words Redemption repeatedly in one song...but I wouldn't know all of ABR's songs like THAT well.

Regardless ABR was amazing! I never knew their bassist (I think) is the one that does the like REALLY high screams, it was an amazing combo! Drumming was sick, breakdowns were the best I've seen live yet!

Jake from ABR was checking the mic before and was doing like all this screaming and the crowd would reply...it was so awesome lol.

Underoath was good as well...I'm not the biggest fan of LITSOS so half of the songs I was like "meh..." especially the really slow ones...seriously, Casting A Thin Shadow and Some Will Seek Forgiveness I was just dreading and it seemed like the biggest waste of time...but I guess they probably get tired!

Underoath was the only band that gave a little speech about Christianity, they were really non-forcing and (being Christian) it was fun to watch everyone cheer when he would say good stuff about God, almost like they were in a church haha.

Anyway, I had a great experience; got inside just in time for Emery, and I just can't really get into them (but I do respect their show, they put on a good one). But holy hell, ABR kicked some serious ass. Loved their whole set, really dug the energy. I was up on the rails with my friend for a while, but moved down to the floor for Underoath and got surprisingly close to stage right.

I gotta say, their energy is just about as intense as it gets. Crowd was just going absolutely nuts; even on "Casting Such A Thin
Shadow," which really surprised me. I've seen them once before, and this one just blew it out of the water. Could not have been a better show for me, even though there were some goofy things like a guy throwing up everywhere and a girl that got knocked out haha. I felt bad for those two. I adored the setlist UO chose though; I felt it flowed extremely well.

Overall a great experience for me and the girl I went with...

I say this while being Agnostic and not exactly believing in God. I feel it would be disingenuous for him to deny his Christianity, and I could feel how much it means to him. August Burns Red were fantastic. Underoath were really really good, but for some reason I left the Metro kind of disappointed in their choice of songs. Guess I can't complain, they still put on a fantastic show.

However, I'm really damn close to forfeiting going to metal shows anymore due to getting clubbed in the skull by douchebag hardcore dancers. It's making them less and less enjoyable.
