God, this is going to be maybe TOO awesome. The Chariot is definitively tied with Fear Before in first, they're the two best live bands I've ever witnessed. I think Norma should just play their entire set, with songs from all the albums. I just think playing an entire album in whole is kinda dumb. That's just me though.

This is how I generally feel, but considering Bless The Martyr is easily their best album, I would not mind at all to see this. And an encore set with songs from other albums usually happens too. Kinda sucks that they aren't gonna play "Pretty Soon, I Don't Know When, But Something Is Going To Happen", but it's quite understandable that it can't be played night after night.

i might go to the fort worth show. NJ has sucked since BTMKTC came out. it would be nice to see them play that all the way through, but their new vocalist wouldn't do it justice. i doubt josh will be on for everyone song. plus the door in fort worth is so tiny for a show that is this big.

This is pretty much how I feel when I listen to their CDs. I like some of the stuff on The Fiancee, but I'm not really into these guys. However, a friend of mine dragged me to one of their shows, and I can easily say that they are much more of a "live band" than anything. Incredible stage presence, and the music sounds better live too.

I like The Chariot and all, I've seen them a number of times but to say they are more of a live band is an overstatement, IMO. They jump, kick, hop, frail, and move around like crazy. I'd never doubt they have energy on stage but they play so sloppy andmess up frequently plus last time I saw them as direct support for Posion The Well they played a huge 20 minute set.

It's a pretty boring album honestly. There's a couple decent tracks (Vertebraille, Bayonetwork, Liarsenic, and the obviously Isis influenced track Disconnektie), but the rest of the songs just don't really go anywhere and aren't memorable. Not to mention, they tried too hard to sound like Botch on most of that record and failed.

5. Shotgun Message
6. Sometimes It's Our Mistakes That Make for the Greatest Ideas

I know they weren't gonna touch the 15-minute song, but if that list is accurate, they didn't play "Organized Beyond Recognition" either. I'd be disappointed with only a 10 song set, especially when they have a large number of songs better than "Vipers..." to play as an encore.

That being said, hearing Scogin do "I Used to Hate Cell Phones..." and "It Was as if the Dead Man..." live would be incredible and make up for the weak encore.

Well... I don't remember the sets actually... I didn't check out Arsonists Get All the Girls beforehand, but their set was pretty alright. None of the crowd was into them, but seeing them made me want to check them out. I know The Chariot started with Teach. And as soon as he started yelling, "Victory is such a lonely word" I forgot about standing back and enjoying music and jumped into the mosh pit. HORSE the Band started with Birdo... I know they played Shapeshift, The Failure of All Things, Murder, and HORSE the Song at one point... and I think one or two more... and then ended with Cutsman. And this list for Norma Jean looks pretty accurate. Short but accurate. Josh came out and did guest vocals on either "I Used to Hate Cell Phones but Now I Hate Car Accidents" or "Creating Something Out Of Nothing Only To Destroy It"... I can't remember which. And "A Small Spark Vs. a Great Forest" had a long extended outro. That's about all I can tell you. It was quite good though.

I am not surprised Pretty Soon... is not being played but I really feel like they should play like thirty seconds leading up to the part with vocals and a tiny bit after. I hope they are doing Organized... and that YouTube setlist was wrong. I also have a feeling that Creating Something... won't be done in-full. Who knows we'll see. I am hoping for more than one song after the BTMAKTC set is done but I doubt it'll happen. It seems that Organized Beyond Recognition is only making it's way into some of the setlists....I'm guessing that some of the other bands are running over time. Also, does anyone else feel that Vipers, Snakes, and Actors is a bit odd to be the encore tune? It doesn't seem like encore material.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I thought that Memphis was gonna be the closer at the shows that weren't Bless The Martyr dates.

Yeah dude, it's pretty much been the closer at all their shows I've seen. I figure now in their career, especially since the released The Anti-Mother, they're way past that "Memphis Band" stereotype. Seeing that vid of "The Entire World..." gives me chills. Half of me hopes they play Bless The Martyr... but then again I'd love to hear a mix. Dillemachine? That's whats up.

I would also like to add that from Teach up until Die Interviewer, they played a medley of those songs, only some parts of each. So it was practically like 3-5 minutes of chaos.

Also, the outro of Norma Jean seemed to be the ending of "Pretty Soon".

Arsonists opened with The 42nd Ego and ended with The Game of Life. They also played Violence in Fluid: Triceratops.

I don't know much about Horse, but they opened with Birdo, played some other stuff, Shapeshift, I think Horse the Song, and then Kangarooster Meadows, and ended with Cutsman. I'm not sure though.

I think it was an awesome show overall. Arsonists played well and got many people to stage dive. The Chariot is quite an experience; probably one of the craziest and best shows I've ever seen. It was awesome, especially when Josh held the spotlight at the choir outro. Norma Jean was much better than when I saw them last year, and the crowd was great too. It was nice seeing them play some old stuff. Yet, the Vipers, Snakes, and Actors felt extremely misplaced to me. I would have rather heard A Small Spark or A Grand Scene, or something sweet from O God...

Awesome show nonetheless!

AGTG sucked. The Chariot played well but the sound was God awful. Horse The Band was fun for half of the set. Norma Jean was awesome.

Thats a pretty good setlist for The Chariot. Really excited to see them! Only thing missing is Daggers.

They asked the audience if they wanted to hear Daggers or Deaf Policemen. I wish they had time for both, though.

yeah, Im not sure which one I would rather hear. Ive seen them live twice and both times they didnt play either one (although when I saw them, The Fiance just came out) Both great songs, but I think I would choose Daggers.

The Chariot played Teach:, Die Interviewer, Before There Was Atlanta, And Shot Each Other, The Deaf Policemen, and Daggers. I mean, that's all I remember. It was fucking nuts. The craziest crowd I've ever been part of. Norma Jean was decent, HORSE was good, AGATG was better than I expected. But The Chariot hands down stole the show.
