View Full Version : Dance-Punk?
The news post about the Panic At The Disco single reminded me of this today. I heard a bunch of the Death From Above 1979 remixes a while back and I thought they were pretty cool. So, reccomendations?

i really like the Men, Women, and Children album. Brandtson has a great new album in my opinion. Ok Go, though that's more of the nerd rock thing then anything else. The Rocket Summer has a great live show here in dallas, where lots of people dance. im just stretching it now.

The Rocket Summer is not dance punk.
You'll want to listen to gang of four, old killing joke stuff, Thunderbirds are Now!, We Are Scientists, VHS or Beta, !!!.
But you really only need gang of four and thunderbirds are now!. The rest of those bands (excluding killing joke) start to lose their appeal after repeated listens.

Yeah, i'm liking that alot. Anyone know of any other remixes of bands that normally aren't dance-punk?

Just because a song makes you dance doesn't mean it's a dance-punk song. It's a genre guy, a fusion of punk and funk.
