I'm wanting to buy something thats legit, that has amp mods, effects, and maybe some presets. I have been looking at like Line 6 POD X3, or something of that sort. Suggestions? I'm not very knowledgeable on the sorts and could use some advice. Price really isnt an issue but within the range of 300-400 is what i'd want to spend.

What do you want this for? What is the rest of your setup?

Amp modeling and digital effects are never as good as a real tube amp and analog pedals.

My amp is a fender Hot Rod Deville 410. I feel like its mainly a volume amp, not a big fan of the overdrive on it.

Haha, I have the same amp, and I think I'm the only person who likes the distortion on it. I don't have to use too much distortion in my band, so it suits me pretty well when I need my guitar to have a little more bite, but if you're wanting to use a good amount of distortion I can see how it wouldn't be considered good.

Ans sorry for the random post that doesn't help you out. haha
